Waste collection and authorized accesses with RFID / barcode.

INDEVO s.r.l. has designed Smart Bin Access, a multifunction product for access control of doors, waste bins and pedestrian accesses.

Smart Bin Access has been included in several projects. Here are some of the most relevant ones.

We have collaborated with a large Italian waste collection company that operates in a port area. Thanks to our system, waste disposal in the area is now allowed only for authorized personnel, for a period of time proportional to the boat rental period.

Barcodes/RFID tags are used to monitor access and to open waste bins.

Moreover, our product was also applied to waste collection facilities in large cities in the italian region of Liguria. Smart Bin Access allows to access the facilities with an RFID tag, which is integrated in a waste collection and management system.

The tool automatically detects when a container is emptied, without the need of human supervision.

Personal RFID tags allow to check whether waste is properly separated by the users and to charge the right fee for the service.
