With the advent of Industry 4.0, or the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Zautomation has increasingly developed its ability to design, implement and manage complex and critical technical infrastructures.
These capabilities have been proven by the design experience gained in recent years in various technologies.
Among our most important references is the software designed for a major company in the Milan area, capable of testing capacitive sensors, i.e. sensors used to identify the level of liquid contained in a given container.
We developed this software using Siemens PLC technologies. The aim of the project is to verify the actual functioning of the sensor by entering certain parameters and conditions that have been tested beforehand, which must then communicate with the Siemens PLC and the sensors themselves to verify their functioning.
All this was done by interfacing with the QR code reader and the laser that allowed writing on the QR code itself, through the Keyence reading system; this code was then useful for the traceability of production batches (classifying the sensor).
To certify the verification, all this was connected to Microsoft Access, a database where all the tests carried out and their results were recorded.
