Food traceability with IOTAR and augmented reality.

Zautomation’s INDEVO s.r.l. division has applied its augmented reality product IOTAR in several sectors including food.

One of our customers from the Emilia-Romagna fishing and fruit and vegetable sector needed to verify the traceability of the goods for quality controls and to make information available to customers.

Each production batch was already identified by a qrcode before being placed on the market.

Through our app has been able to easily provide its operators and external inspectors, once framed the marker, all the information about the product. This information may vary from the origin of the food to the method used for farming and cultivation.

Each quality check and storage of products is also validated by the signature of the responsible directly from the app.

In addition, the app is also used by consumers. which, by framing the product (only for macro categories of products and without use of qrcode), can learn about video recipes, production information, recycling tips, nutritional content, games, related products, promotional codes and links to e-commerce
