The integration of RFID technology into logistics and sales processes has led to significant improvements in footwear management for our client. Thanks to this innovation, we have achieved greater visibility and traceability of stock within the warehouse, reducing the risk of errors and improving operational efficiency.
The implementation of the RFID system has allowed real-time monitoring of the movement of goods, facilitating the management of inventory levels and the planning of replenishments. In addition, the system has simplified picking operations, allowing for a reduction in order preparation times and an increase in the speed of processing requests.
In terms of the sales phase, the introduction of the self-checkout system has made the shopping experience smoother and more autonomous for customers. Through the use of RFID readers, customers can now directly scan products and complete the payment quickly and without queues, thus improving customer satisfaction and increasing the likelihood of impulse purchases.
In summary, this transformation has not only modernized our client’s logistics, but has also optimized the entire sales process, helping to increase efficiency and competitiveness in the market. We are excited about the results achieved and the future opportunities that this technology can offer.
Specifically, the solution we implemented involves the use of RFID tags of different sizes and functions. A small, transparent UHF RFID tag was applied to the sole of each shoe. The shoes are then placed inside their cardboard boxes, on which a larger, white RFID tag was placed, printed with a dedicated RFID printer.
The association between the packages and the shoes was carried out through all-in-one RFID PCs which accurately read a shoe box placed on the reading surface.

We have introduced an RFID gate for automatic reading at the entrance and exit of the warehouse of goods that are moved using manual trolleys or forklifts. Indevo UHF Gates are American structures designed to identify pallets/goods in transit through gates with the help of forklifts, pallet trucks, conveyor belts or manually.
This setup ensured accurate tracking of goods in the warehouse with more efficient inventory control.
In the 5 points of sale of the client, UHF anti-shoplifting gates have been introduced. Our UHF anti-shoplifting GATES perform readings in a few milliseconds and this makes their use particularly suitable for the retail sector and beyond.
The use of a 360-degree detection field improves performance by reducing dependence on the orientation of the UHF label, and also allows its users to protect increasingly larger openings, increasing the security levels of the point of sale.
