During a meeting, the need arose to implement our IOTAR software for collecting, analyzing and managing data generated by machines used in the production department.<\/p>\n\n

Machine data acquisition software is an advanced solution that allows you to collect, store, process and display information from industrial machinery and equipment. This data is essential for monitoring operational performance, diagnosing faults early, analyzing machine behavior in depth and optimizing production processes.<\/p>\n\n

The department in question consists of four machines, each equipped with encoders, devices of primary importance for the precise detection of engine movements. These tools provide fundamental data to ensure accurate control of operations and improve the efficiency of the production process.<\/p>\n\n

To ensure effective management of data collection and analysis, we have chosen to adopt our innovative Iotar Acquisition platform, which acts as an industrial “black box”. Thanks to high-performance hardware, the system is able to communicate through various industrial protocols, including EtherCAT and Profinet, thus ensuring high compatibility and perfect integration with existing infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n

To house all the components essential for the correct functioning of the acquisition system, we have installed a dedicated electrical panel, which includes the interfaces for connection to the sensors and communication nodes. This allows for an orderly and efficient management of the hardware, minimizing any problems related to configuration and maintenance.<\/p>\n\n

Each machine has been equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen operator panel, strategically positioned on the right side to ensure intuitive and easy access for operators. This device allows for the real-time display of crucial data, such as the position of the encoders and the status of the traffic lights, thus improving the supervision of the production process. In addition, the panel integrates a USB barcode reader that facilitates the entry of the batch number, a key element for the traceability of production cycles and for ensuring optimal management of the processes.<\/p>\n\n

The system is not limited to collecting data from encoders, but also acquires information from other strategic sensors, monitoring parameters such as the operating status of the machines. This allows a detailed analysis of production efficiency and allows for the timely identification of any anomalies or inefficiencies.<\/p>\n\n

Another key aspect of our software is the automated management of production interruptions. In the event of failures or machine stops, the system records the type of problem encountered and temporarily suspends data collection until the anomaly is resolved. This allows you to avoid recording invalid data and optimize the analysis of the problems encountered.<\/p>\n\n

One of the main strengths of this project lies in its high flexibility. The system has been designed to allow modular integration of new sensors or devices without the need for invasive interventions on the existing structure. The use of Beckhoff EK1100 remote nodes significantly reduces cable footprint and simplifies the addition of new technologies, making the infrastructure highly scalable and adaptable to future production needs.<\/p>\n\n

Thanks to this innovative implementation, our system has significantly contributed to improving machine performance, reducing operating costs, increasing safety levels and providing accurate and detailed analysis of production processes. The adoption of Iotar Acquisition has allowed the customer to achieve more efficient and intelligent management of resources, promoting an increase in productivity and business competitiveness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
